Android Developer – Kotlin/Java Mobile Apps

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our New York team and build high‑quality mobile applications. You will work on end‑to‑end development, from UI design to backend integration, ensuring performance, security and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement UI components following Google Material Design guidelines.
• Integrate payment gateways, Firebase services, Google Maps and related APIs.
• Work with RESTful and SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and manage data persistence with Room, SQLite and Realm.
• Ensure app performance through multithreading, concurrency handling, and push‑notification implementation.
• Collaborate with version‑control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket) and follow best practices for testing and debugging.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM).
• Experience integrating multiple payment gateways and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Crashlytics, and Google Maps services.
