Analytics Engineer

About the role

Greystar’s Decision Intelligence team within the D²AI organization is looking for an Analytics Engineer to help build the data foundation that powers AI‑advanced decision making across the company. You will work closely with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, responsible, and impactful AI‑enabled solutions that improve the speed and quality of decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics platforms that support AI‑driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional pods (e.g., Marketing, Property Operations, Resident, FP&A) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement and operationalize AI models, ensuring they are robust, ethical, and scalable.
• Partner with engineering and analytics teams to integrate AI‑enabled tools into daily workflows.
• Contribute to shared data platforms so that improvements in one business area become capabilities for the entire organization.

Required profile

• Versatile and self‑directed with the ability to quickly grasp unfamiliar business contexts.
• Strong interest and fluency in AI concepts and their practical application.
• Proven ability to work at the intersection of data, technology, and business outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration skills to partner effectively with engineers, analysts, and business owners.
