About the role

TD is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to design, develop, and implement technology controls and security policies that protect the bank’s assets. You will work on moderate‑to‑high complexity projects, providing expert analysis and reporting across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, tune, and maintain security detections across SIEM and monitoring platforms.
• Analyze security events, alerts, and telemetry to identify suspicious activity and detection gaps.
• Apply detection‑engineering principles to improve alert fidelity and reduce noise.
• Leverage Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and related tools to support threat detection and investigation use cases.
• Use Splunk for data review, investigations, and detection tuning.
• Apply cybersecurity knowledge across identity, endpoint, cloud, network, email, and application security domains.
• Collaborate with SOC, incident response, security engineering, and technology teams to enhance security outcomes.
• Document detection logic, assumptions, data sources, and tuning decisions clearly.
• Assess detection effectiveness for relevance, actionability, coverage, and operational value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more security domains (e.g., identity, cloud, network).
• Proven experience on projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Subject‑matter expertise in at least one technology niche or line of business.
