Analyst II Sourcing – Commodity Focus

About the role

The Analyst II Sourcing – Commodity Focus role supports Cleveland Clinic’s sourcing and contracting activities by analyzing products and services, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and managing risk. Working on a hybrid schedule, the analyst collaborates with senior team members and business stakeholders to drive value across assigned commodity categories.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with category teams and stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, including cost savings, value creation and risk management.
• Coordinate contracts and sourcing events through the entire lifecycle, from request for quotations to proposal evaluation and contract approval.
• Perform data analysis for moderately complex spend categories and prepare reports on findings, outcomes, and savings.
• Support enterprise contract conversions, hospital integration efforts, and legal review processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of assigned goods and services by reviewing industry literature and meeting with sales representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or related field with two years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree with four years experience, OR High School diploma with six years experience.
• Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods, operate computer equipment, travel throughout the hospital system, and follow standard personal protective equipment precautions.
