Analyst II – Process Engineer, Supply Chain

About the role

This position leads process improvement initiatives within a distribution center, applying structured methodologies to eliminate losses and drive efficiency. The Analyst II works closely with area managers and cross‑functional teams to implement the Walmart Performance System (WPS) and deliver measurable KPI results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 5S, root‑cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time‑and‑motion studies to reduce process variation.
• Analyze KPIs, identify top losses, and develop standard work to sustain improvements.
• Support area managers in reviewing and responding to process‑improvement projects.
• Deploy WPS playbooks, conduct gap analyses, and assist with tactical rollout of improvement methodologies.
• Manage project execution for loss‑reduction initiatives and build capability among associates.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align goals, track progress, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to develop high‑performing teams.
