Analyst, Corporate Finance

About the role

The Corporate Finance Analyst will support Greystar’s senior leadership and Board of Directors by delivering actionable financial insights and managing the corporate balance sheet. This role is central to the company’s strategic growth across its global real‑estate platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage employee co‑investment funds, including reforecasting, semi‑annual reporting, cash forecasting and distribution governance.
• Coordinate with external affiliates for fundraising, sponsor equity reporting, and parent‑company investment updates.
• Assist senior team members and Corporate Accounting in preparing quarterly external financial reports for bondholders, including CFO call scripts and CEO Q&A summaries.
• Prepare quarterly updates for the Board of Directors and ad‑hoc memorandums.
• Develop performance packages for the Employee Equity Ownership Plan.
• Support the Annual 409A valuation process, reviewing methodology and drafting Board approval memos.
• Contribute to capital‑markets transactions such as corporate bond refinancing and line‑of‑credit renegotiations.
• Track capital‑allocation initiatives and create presentations for the Capital Allocation Committee.
• Perform additional ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Finance.
• Regular interaction with senior executives, cross‑disciplinary teams, and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required.
