Analyst – Capital Formation (Private Equity)

About the role

Our client, a leading global placement agent, is expanding its Project Management team in New York. The Analyst will support the end‑to‑end execution of fundraising campaigns for private equity, infrastructure and credit funds, working closely with internal teams and external investors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate timelines, track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met across multiple concurrent fundraising projects.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing fundraising materials such as pitch decks, private placement memoranda, due‑diligence questionnaires and investor updates.
• Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and ensure CRM data integrity.
• Organise roadshows, investor meetings and follow‑up activities in partnership with the distribution team.
• Liaise with clients to collect and organise materials required for investor due diligence.
• Generate periodic reports and analytics for internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 18 months of experience in investment banking, a placement agent or a financial sponsors group.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Interest in private markets and a desire to grow within the alternative‑investment industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
