Americas Controller – Retail Finance

About the role

The Americas Controller will lead financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision‑making for the US retail business of DG Beauty. Reporting to the CFO Americas, the role partners with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other functions to drive profitability and support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic revisions and forecasting aligned with commercial objectives.
• Manage and analyze the managerial P&L, including revenue, cost of goods sold, gross margin, operating expenses and bottom‑line performance.
• Validate purchase orders against budgets and monitor actual results versus forecasts, preparing variance reports.
• Evaluate financial impact of commercial plans, launches, pricing, promotions and business initiatives.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, dashboards and scorecards.
• Present financial results, key variances, risks and opportunities to senior leadership.

Required profile

• University‑level education in business or finance, or equivalent professional education.
• At least 3 years of experience as an assistant controller, FP&A, commercial finance or a related function within US retail.
• Experience managing financial budgets and planning, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
