Alumni Engagement and Giving Manager

About the role

The Cape Eleuthera Foundation is seeking a dynamic Alumni Engagement and Giving Manager to lead relationship building with Island School alumni. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will design and implement strategies that deepen alumni connections, increase volunteer participation, and grow philanthropic support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement plan for Semester, Summer Term, and Deep Creek Middle School programs.
• Partner with program leaders to create complementary strategies for faculty, staff, and visiting alumni.
• Launch and manage the inaugural Alumni Council, overseeing recruitment, quarterly meetings, and volunteer initiatives.
• Administer the Almabase alumni platform, ensuring seamless communication and engagement.
• Track alumni activity, participation, and volunteer metrics using Salesforce and Almabase, providing data‑driven insights.
• Expand the Alumni Ambassador program in collaboration with Admissions.
• Represent The Island School at virtual, on‑stage, and one‑on‑one events.

Required profile

• Passionate about education, nonprofit fundraising, and community building.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across Advancement, Communications, and Admissions teams.

Required skills

• Experience with alumni relationship platforms, specifically Almabase.
• Proficiency in Salesforce for data tracking and analysis.
