Algorithm Developer

About the role

We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Algorithm Developer to join our unique product team and help develop the next generation of semiconductor inspection technology. The role focuses on advanced image‑processing and deep‑learning algorithms for an e‑beam inspection platform.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement advanced algorithms for next‑generation e‑beam inspection applications.
• Develop registration and scoring algorithms, including Image‑to‑CAD alignment, non‑rigid registration, defect detection, and localization.
• Create algorithms for electrical defect analysis such as voltage contrast and failure‑mode analysis.
• Build zero‑to‑low‑shot training capabilities and improve workflow performance and robustness.
• Own end‑to‑end deployment and integration of algorithms into the inspection system.
• Partner with image‑processing software engineers to optimize performance for high‑speed inspection.
• Collaborate with system designers, software engineers, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of algorithm R&D experience with deep expertise in image processing, computer vision, or deep learning.
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust, production‑grade algorithms, not just research prototypes.
• Strong understanding of software and algorithm infrastructure and ability to work with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for remote and cross‑functional collaboration.
