Key responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate machine‑learning and deep‑learning models using complex time‑series sensor data from semiconductor equipment.
• Perform algorithmic concept‑to‑function work, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, and implementation constraints.
• Build executable data‑science solutions that deliver differentiated insights to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with software engineers to create data‑pipeline and modeling pipelines integrated with the internal Applied platform.
• Fine‑tune algorithm performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve pipeline problems.
• Document development, support implementation, integration, and testing of algorithmic modules.
• Communicate technical details across multi‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Mentor and guide other algorithm developers working on the same module.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with 6+ years of hardware‑oriented analytics experience (or PhD with 3+ years of time‑series data analysis).
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with data extraction, cleaning, signal processing, and visualization for large datasets.
• Understanding of semiconductor sensors and processes.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, data‑science libraries, React, and SQL.
