Alcohol Compliance Supervisor

About the role

The Alcohol Compliance Supervisor works under the direction of management to ensure responsible service of alcohol throughout the entire building at The Pavilion at Star Lake, in line with state and company policies. The role also involves monitoring employees' adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy and assisting staff with alcohol-related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the serving of alcohol by event-day employees.
• Hold a pre-shift meeting to share details and notes with the compliance team, and a post-event meeting to review the day's outcomes.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines required by federal, state and local laws, and company and venue standards.
• Ensure staff adhere to those guidelines.
• Observe, document and report alcohol-related issues, violations, pass-offs and suspected guest intoxication.
• Assist management with setting and communicating the last call time for alcohol sales.
• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor, and interact with guests, volunteers and staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Encourage the team to follow safety policies, complete safety training, and report safety incidents in the company's risk management system on the same day.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced environment; alcohol compliance experience or leadership oversight preferred.
• Ability to work all venue events, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain responsible alcohol service certifications.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including lifting, pushing and pulling about 25 lbs, and standing or walking up to 10 hours per shift on ramps and stairs.
