Alcohol Compliance Supervisor

About the role

Legends Global is hiring an Alcohol Compliance Supervisor for Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. Under the direction of management, the supervisor ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the building in line with state and company policies, assists staff with alcohol-related issues, monitors compliance with the Legends Alcohol Policy and helps manage alcohol cut-off times.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the serving of alcohol by event-day employees.
• Hold a pre-shift meeting to brief the compliance team and a post-event meeting to review the day's outcomes.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines required by federal, state and local law and company standards.
• Ensure staff adhere to those guidelines.
• Observe, document and report alcohol-related issues, violations, pass-offs and suspected guest intoxication.
• Assist management with setting and communicating last call times.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude, interact with guests, volunteers and staff, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Encourage the team to follow safety policies, complete safety training, and report safety incidents in the company's risk management system on the same day.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced environment; alcohol compliance experience or leadership oversight preferred.
• Ability to work all venue events, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain responsible alcohol service certification.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks and to lift, push or pull about 25 lbs.
• Able to stand or walk up to 10 hours per shift, including on ramps and stairs.

• High school education or better preferred.
