AIx Product Manager – Level V

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an AIx Product Manager (Level V) to bridge deep engineering expertise with product management. This emerging leader will translate high‑value customer problems, field feedback, and business priorities into clear product requirements, roadmap inputs, and execution plans while receiving structured mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to product strategy, roadmap definition, and requirements for a defined product or technology area.
• Partner with engineering, sales, field, marketing, operations and service teams to turn technical opportunities into scalable product outcomes.
• Capture Voice of Customer, competitive intelligence and field insights to shape product recommendations.
• Coordinate with program management to ensure requirements are feasible, prioritized and traceable through execution.
• Maintain documentation of product decisions, assumptions, risks and success metrics.

Required profile

• PhD in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Strong technical foundation with proven ability to solve complex engineering problems in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage engineering, field, business and customer stakeholders.
• Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to developing product‑management and commercial skills.
