Airport Concession Worker

About the role

Join the Concessions team at The Elevator inside Pullman Moscow Regional Airport (PUW) and help create exceptional guest experiences. You will prepare and serve handcrafted food and beverages, handle cash transactions, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, lotus drinks, and food items to correct specifications.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with service protocols.
• Maintain product placement, stock levels, and cleanliness of the concession area.
• Handle cash accurately and balance the drawer at shift changes and end of day.
• Process catering orders and document guest feedback.
• Follow food safety, handling, and TSA background check requirements.

Required profile

• Must be 21 years or older and able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and move quickly throughout the airport.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a MAST Alcohol Server Permit and Washington State Food Handlers Card.
• Previous customer‑service experience required; restaurant experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a TSA‑required background check.

Required skills

• Experience with or ability to learn the Toast point‑of‑sale (POS) system.

What we offer

• 20–40 hours per week, schedule based on availability.
• Starting wage $17.50 per hour (DOE) plus tips.
• Potential eligibility for retirement benefits through Washington State DRS.
