Aircraft Technician A – Mechanical Installer (Flightline)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Aircraft Technician A – Mechanical Installer to join the Flightline team in Columbus, Mississippi. The role involves performing mechanical removals, installations, and supporting other technicians on assigned helicopters and components.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, replace, adjust and align aircraft parts and components.
• Conduct functional checks to verify proper system operation.
• Interpret three‑dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders and inspection reports.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions on aircraft systems.
• Assist fellow technicians as needed to ensure efficient flightline operations.

Required profile

• Experience with mechanical installation and removal on aircraft or helicopter platforms.
• Ability to work safely in a flightline environment and collaborate with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.
