Aircraft Technician A – Flightline

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Aircraft Technician A to join the Flightline team in Columbus, Mississippi. The role involves hands‑on work assembling, installing, repairing and testing helicopter components to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment and alignment of aircraft parts and components.
• Assist in operational checks of complete aircraft systems to verify proper functioning.
• Support diagnosis of malfunctions or failures and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements.
• Participate in aircraft build‑up and testing activities, contributing to approximately 70 % of the overall process.

Required profile

• Ability to work safely in a flightline environment and follow aerospace quality standards.
• Attention to detail for component inspection and functional testing.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
