Aircraft Rework Mechanic – Mobile, AL

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Aircraft Rework Mechanic to join the X‑Plant Manufacturing team at its Mobile, Alabama facility. You will work on the shop floor supporting the production of A220 and A320 family aircraft, performing a variety of non‑standard rework tasks to ensure aircraft quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical system rework, wire and harness changes, and electrical bonding.
• Perform crimping, pinning, splicing, component/equipment changes, painting, sealing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct self‑inspections and delegated inspections according to qualification profiles and work order requirements.
• Collaborate with an autonomous team to meet milestones for Mobile Final Assembly Line (FAL) and Flight Line.
• Maintain compliance with Airbus procedures and safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in aircraft or aerospace maintenance, preferably with hands‑on rework tasks.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed work orders.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
