About the role
Airbus is seeking an Aircraft Electrician Installer to join its manufacturing team in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves performing electrical installations and connections on aircraft, including cabin, cockpit, cargo, and ground‑test systems, across multiple shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct tests and inspections, prepare and change programs, and verify system functions in line with work orders.
- Install and produce electrical components, including marking, laying, connecting, assembling, bundling, painting, and soldering.
- Adapt, torque, and secure equipment panels, printed circuit boards, and other components while documenting work in the SAP system.
- Sequence work activities, troubleshoot issues, and record measured values.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to complete Airbus‑provided training in Health & Safety, aircraft familiarisation, and quality procedures.
- Preferably trained in vocational school or through previous employer in application tools and techniques.
Required skills
- Electrical installation on aircraft systems.
- Ground testing and continuity checks.
- Use of SAP for documentation.
- Soldering and printed circuit board handling.
- Torque application for panels and components.
