Aircraft Electrical Technician A – H145 Final Assembly (2nd shift)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Aircraft Electrical Technician A to join the H145 Final Assembly Line (FAL) team in Columbus, Mississippi. The role works the second shift and focuses on installing, fabricating, repairing, and testing aircraft electrical and electronic components and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation tasks on helicopters during build‑up and refurbishment.
• Fabricate wire harnesses and route wires on form boards, applying tying, lacing, and anti‑chaff protection.
• Read and interpret detailed plans, diagrams, and standards to ensure correct assembly.
• Conduct functional checks of components and systems to verify proper operation.
• Collaborate with quality and production teams to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience working with aircraft electrical or electronic systems.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to work the second shift in an onsite manufacturing environment.
