Aircraft Certifying Manager (2nd shift)

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Aircraft Certifying Manager for the second shift at its Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. The role focuses on ensuring that aircraft documentation reflects the correct "As‑Built" configuration and aligns with the target design for the A220 program.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review, and sign aircraft documentation to confirm "As‑Built" status matches the target configuration.
• Maintain up‑to‑date conformity documentation, including the Aircraft Statement of Conformity.
• Issue Transport Canada Export Airworthiness Certificates as required.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve documentation discrepancies.

Required profile

• Experience with aircraft certification processes, preferably on the A220 platform.
• Strong understanding of "As‑Built" versus "As‑Designed" configurations.
• Ability to manage and sign off on critical compliance documents.
• Familiarity with Transport Canada export certification requirements.
