About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking an AI Program Manager focused on governance to lead its enterprise AI initiatives across a global humanitarian operation. This 12‑month fixed‑term role sits at the intersection of technology, program delivery, and organizational change, ensuring responsible AI adoption that directly enhances impact for vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive AI projects from concept through delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams worldwide.
- Establish and enforce rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI tools to ensure ethical, transparent, and effective use.
- Partner with senior leaders, technical experts, and frontline staff to embed AI into core program processes.
- Develop governance policies, risk assessments, and compliance documentation for AI deployments.
- Monitor AI performance, report outcomes, and iterate solutions to maximize humanitarian impact.
Required profile
