AI Platform Engineer

About the role

Givzey is building the world’s first autonomous AI fundraisers and needs a senior engineer to own the platform that keeps its services secure, reliable, and scalable. You will work across AWS, infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, and AI services to enable engineers to focus on product development rather than deployment headaches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, and security across multiple environments.
• Own the Infrastructure as Code strategy using Pulumi (or Terraform/CloudFormation) and create reusable modules.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to automate releases and reduce friction for developers.
• Support AI workloads on Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, and vector‑search services, partnering with ML engineers to operationalize models.
• Monitor production systems, improve observability, and lead incident response and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Passionate about automating manual deployment steps and building one‑click pipelines.
• Enjoys wearing multiple hats – from debugging IAM permissions to building Pulumi modules and tuning ECS workloads.
• Strong focus on reliability, observability, and repeatable processes.

Required skills

• AWS (multi‑account, Organizations, ECS, Docker, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS).
• Infrastructure as Code: Pulumi (or Terraform/CloudFormation).
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions.
• Programming: Python.
• AI infrastructure: Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, vector databases, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines.
• Orchestration tools such as Dagster (nice to have).
