AI Cloud Network Architect

About the role

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking an experienced AI Cloud Network Architect to design and implement high‑performance network infrastructures that support large‑scale AI compute clusters and Bitcoin mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with NVIDIA, network equipment vendors, ISPs and colocation partners to translate business and cloud platform requirements into top‑level network designs covering internal, DCI and global backbone networks.
• Plan and implement foundational resources such as IP addressing, VLAN/VXLAN, bandwidth allocation and a forward‑looking network evolution roadmap.
• Lead end‑to‑end internal network architecture for GPU clusters (InfiniBand/RoCE), Spine‑Leaf/Clos topologies, front‑end business networks and out‑of‑band management networks.
• Collaborate with cloud platform engineering on underlay design and overlay integration (SDN controllers, VxLAN, EVPN).
• Own congestion‑control tuning and standards for hyperscale clusters, including PFC, ECN and In‑band Network Telemetry.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level architecture documentation, topology diagrams, configuration standards and SOPs.
• Identify architectural risks, develop improvement roadmaps and drive execution to completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or a related field.
• 8+ years of network architecture design and planning experience at a hyperscale internet company, top‑tier cloud provider or multinational backbone operator.
• Deep understanding of AI compute cluster networking with expert‑level proficiency in InfiniBand and RoCEv2 design.
• Familiarity with high‑performance topologies such as rail‑optimized architectures; experience deploying 10,000‑100,000‑GPU scale clusters is a strong plus.
