AI Business Analyst - HR Technology

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering, driving AI‑enabled semiconductor innovation. The AI Business Analyst will partner with HR Centers of Excellence to embed AI solutions across the HR function, improving employee experience and process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI use cases for HR, collaborating with COEs, GIS and data science teams.
• Evaluate current AI features, recommend enhancements, and support the AiMEE chatbot for relevance and user satisfaction.
• Lead pilot deployments of AiMEE across countries, gather feedback and scale globally.
• Partner with Data Analytics to develop and validate HR analytics models using Workday data.
• Monitor Workday releases and AI trends to propose continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of core HR domains (Core HR, Total Rewards, Talent) and Workday capabilities.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical AI requirements and use cases.
• Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills to break down complex HR systems and drive automation.
