AI Business Analyst, HR Technology

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an AI Business Analyst focused on HR Technology to bridge business needs with Workday capabilities. The role partners with HR Centers of Excellence and Global Implementation Services to translate strategic priorities into functional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery sessions with HR COEs and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements aligned with Workday standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as BRDs, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Serve as liaison between HR COEs and GIS, ensuring functional feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Support employee experience teams in identifying enhancements to Workday functionality.
• Provide functional support during testing, release planning, and deployment.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of core HR processes (hire‑to‑retire, talent acquisition, total rewards).
• Experience working with HR COEs and translating functional requirements into system capabilities.
• Ability to analyze and redesign business processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
