AI & Automations Associate

About the role

Hamster Garage, a fast‑growing partner management agency in Chicago, is looking for an AI & Automations Associate. You will use AI‑driven and no‑code/low‑code tools to eliminate repetitive work, manage the agency’s technology stack, and ensure secure, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities across account, finance, people ops, and executive teams and deliver solutions using platforms such as Zapier or Lovable.
• Build and ship internal tools or reporting workflows, ranging from scratch‑built applications to simple integration fixes.
• Own the software stack: provision and de‑provision employee and client access, track licenses and costs, and flag waste.
• Lead technical aspects of software migrations and maintain accurate documentation of processes and automations.
• Ensure access control and data security by revoking permissions immediately upon employee departure.
• Maintain a detailed hardware inventory across multiple locations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience creating automations or managing SaaS tools in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and process maintenance.
