AI Application Security Engineer

About the role

Brain Co. is looking for an AI Application Security Engineer to own the security of its AI‑native operating systems. You will work with product and ML engineers to embed security into the development lifecycle and protect data in highly regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce secure development practices, including authentication/authorization patterns, secrets management, and input validation.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and pre‑deployment gates.
• Conduct threat modeling for new product features and translate risks into concrete controls.
• Build and maintain automated security tooling that scales across the codebase, leveraging AI for code analysis and threat detection.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure the agentic infrastructure at the application layer.

Required profile

• Strong background in application security for complex, regulated systems.
• Hands‑on experience building security tooling and automating security reviews.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and influence security by design.
