AI Agent Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Agent Engineer to ensure that AI‑driven agents operate safely, reliably and efficiently in production environments. You will work within the newly formed Enterprise AI team, bridging automation, system monitoring and human oversight to deliver real‑world business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage AI agents and multi‑agent workflows used across business and technology teams.
• Monitor agent behavior, outputs and reliability in production, detecting performance issues or unexpected results.
• Tune prompts, configurations and execution logic to improve output quality and operational stability.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, Model Context Protocols (MCP) and internal or external data sources.
• Implement and maintain runtime guardrails, escalation paths and human‑in‑the‑loop controls for safe, compliant operation.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues related to agent performance, data access or system integration.
• Document workflows, configurations and procedures to support repeatability and governance.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data teams, platform teams and business stakeholders for controlled rollout of AI capabilities.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a technical or operational role such as data operations, application support, system operations or AI platform support.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise production systems.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams and document processes.
