About the role

The Advisory Manager will lead client advisory engagements for a global accounting and advisory firm based in New York. This role combines audit expertise with advisory services, focusing on Japanese‑owned companies and cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit and review engagements for Japanese subsidiaries and multinational clients.
• Develop and mentor a team of auditors, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.
• Provide strategic advisory services, leveraging deep knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in both English and Japanese.
• Maintain high‑quality client relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of audit or review experience in public accounting, including work with Japanese companies.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Active CPA license.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in Japanese.
