Advanced QA Automation Engineer

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead testing efforts on a high‑visibility, multi‑year project. You will act as a technical advisor, guide a QA team, and ensure the quality of software releases across the 9th District and the broader Federal Reserve System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to QA team members.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and strategies.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to resolve issues and meet requirements.
• Lead creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans, scripts, and data.
• Support audit reviews, cloud service integrations, and technology initiatives.
• Research and recommend emerging technologies and reusable code solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum nine years of relevant QA or software testing experience.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
