Advanced Principal, Portfolio Services

About the role

The Advanced Principal, Portfolio Services will act as the subject‑matter expert for complex, cross‑region portfolio and cash‑related concerns. You will lead critical production issue resolution, guide global teams, and partner with investment, compliance and external service providers to deliver robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise, leadership and recommendations on cross‑functional business challenges.
• Own and resolve critical production issues, serving as the escalation point.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and production support for portfolio services.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders such as Investments, Compliance, Custodians and Transfer Agents.
• Lead, coordinate and project‑manage global initiatives, including new instruments, regulatory changes and system implementations.
• Develop and execute team plans, set priorities and define policies aligned with business goals.
• Represent IDS Portfolio Services in cross‑functional and global projects.
• Establish and continuously improve a global support and oversight model while addressing regional needs.
• Document standard operating procedures and ensure cross‑training across the global team.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in portfolio or investment services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience driving global projects and process improvements.
