Advanced Practice RN/Physician Assistant – Endocrine Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the IMSL Endocrine Clinic. This regular, full‑time position works day shifts and focuses on delivering high‑quality endocrine care to patients in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, and self‑management strategies.
• Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and research activities as needed.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN or PA in the state of Arkansas.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Commitment to the mission of UAMS and ability to work within a diverse, team‑oriented environment.
