Advanced Practice RN/PA – ENT Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) clinic in Jonesboro, AR. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and support staff, and contributing to the clinic’s mission of improving health outcomes for Arkansans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations specific to ENT conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under physician supervision, including flexible nasopharyngoscopy and minor surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order appropriate tests.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and follow‑up care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary case conferences.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted license as an APRN or PA in the state of Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
