Advanced Practice RN/PA – Electrophysiology/Cardiology

About the role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) will join the Electrophysiology/Cardiology department at UAMS, providing direct patient care and supporting electrophysiology procedures. This position works closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality cardiovascular services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing or physician assistant services to patients undergoing electrophysiology and cardiology care.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures as directed by supervising physicians.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN or PA with appropriate credentials for electrophysiology/cardiology practice.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to access and apply through the University of Arkansas Workday portal.
