About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will extend patient care and administrative services for UAMS physicians in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the Allo Transplant Clinic.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive health assessments, determine diagnoses, implement treatment plans, perform procedures, and prescribe medicines.
Manage health issues independently or in collaboration with designated physicians and coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Required profile

Master’s degree and at least two years of nursing experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas.
Current APRN/CPN license with Acute Care Certified, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Urgent Care certification.

Required skills

BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
Prescriptive authority and DEA license (to be obtained after hire).
