Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Allo Transplant Clinic

About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider will extend patient care and administrative services for UAMS physicians in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the Allo Transplant Clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive health assessments, determine diagnoses, implement treatment plans, perform procedures, and prescribe medicines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care, facilitate consults, and ensure timely, appropriate patient management.
• Serve as a health‑care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and at least two years of nursing experience in Arkansas.
• Current APRN/CPN license (Acute Care Certified, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Urgent Care certification).
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).

Required skills

• Prescriptive authority and ability to obtain a DEA license after hire.
• Proficiency with typical nursing equipment (scales, procedure kits, blood pressure cuffs, EKG machines).
