Adult Protective Services Case Manager Supervisor

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking an experienced leader to supervise Adult Protective Services case managers in Lawrenceville. This position ensures the safety and well‑being of vulnerable adults while guiding a team of case managers through daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate staff activities, including planning and scheduling.
• Assess client risk levels and take appropriate actions to protect safety.
• Monitor work quality, ensure adherence to policies, and approve or reject case decisions.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and generate required reports.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of case‑management experience.
• Two years of experience as a lower‑level Adult Protective Services case manager (or equivalent).
• Ability to work effectively with personnel at multiple organizational levels.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using DAS Data Systems.
