Adult Education Front Desk Receptionist (Work‑Study)

About the role

This work‑study position supports the Adult Education program at the North Metro Campus. As the front‑desk receptionist you will be the first point of contact for students and visitors, providing courteous service and assisting with daily administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Greet walk‑in customers, answer questions about programs, and guide them through intake procedures.
• Assist Adult Education staff with routine clerical duties, including filing and data entry.
• Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure informational materials are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and multitasking capability.
• Enrollment as a Chattahoochee Technical College student in good academic standing and meeting FAFSA financial‑need criteria.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $12.00.
• Maximum of 19 work hours per week.
