ADU Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

About the role

The Automatic Drilling Unit (ADU) Technician provides technical and mechanical support for ADU systems used in high‑precision drilling on the A220/A320 final assembly lines. Working on both the 1st and 2nd shifts, the technician ensures equipment uptime and manufacturing consistency across the production line and ADU shop.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and implement all ADU equipment, cutting tools, and drilling templates.
• Perform preventative maintenance and timely technical repairs to maximize ADU system availability.
• Oversee qualification of new ADU systems and support their entry into service.
• Provide on‑the‑job instruction and technical oversight to production staff.
• Promote best practices, advise on process optimisation, and document lessons learned.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance or related mechanical roles.
• Ability to work 1st and 2nd shift schedules.
• Strong collaboration skills with production teams.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
