Admissions Counselor

About the role

The Admissions Counselor supports prospective students through the application process and helps ensure a smooth transition from admission to enrollment at University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College.

Key responsibilities

• Understand admissions processes and assist prospective students with applications and required documents.
• Process student applications using college data systems and verify or update information as needed.
• Guide students from admission through registration and advising, ensuring a smooth transition to enrollment.
• Manage a specific admission program or student population such as Early College, International Students, Baptist Health, or Adult Education.
• Provide customer‑service referrals and maintain confidentiality of academic records.
• Support college recruitment activities and answer general financial aid and scholarship questions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in system streamlining).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• General computer and web proficiency.
• Experience working with students in a secondary or post‑secondary setting, preferably in admissions or recruitment.

What we offer

• Annual salary of $31,200.
