Adjunct Welding Instructor for High School & Academy

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Adjunct Welding Instructor to teach welding technology courses to college and high‑school students at Brooks High School and Delta Academy. The role involves delivering day‑time classes, following the approved syllabus, and supporting student success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction in welding technology for college and high‑school students.
• Demonstrate appropriate teaching, testing and grading techniques.
• Maintain accurate gradebooks and related records.
• Use and maintain welding equipment, heavy tools, and classroom resources.
• Prepare and submit reports, invoices, and inventory records in a timely manner.
• Travel periodically between Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in welding technology, education, or a related field with verifiable credentials.
• Relevant welding certifications and knowledge of current industry procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under general supervision and follow course syllabus.
