Adjunct Psychology Instructor

About the role

The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Psychology Instructor to teach associate‑degree and diploma‑level psychology courses on a term‑by‑term basis. This part‑time academic position supports student learning both in‑person and through distance‑education formats.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs, and discussions for psychology courses at the associate‑degree level.
• Develop and update course syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and track progress toward learning objectives.
• Maintain classroom supplies and equipment required for instruction.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, Technical College System of Georgia standards, and accreditation requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Psychology (or a Master’s with 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology) from a regionally accredited institution.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Three years of relevant professional or teaching experience (preferred).
• Postsecondary teaching experience, including familiarity with distance‑education technologies.
