Adjunct Professor – International & Comparative Competition Law (Lyon Program)

About the role

The LSU Law Center is seeking an adjunct professor to teach an International and Comparative Competition Law course as part of its Summer Lyon program. The instructor will guide graduate students through complex jurisdictional issues that arise when domestic competition rules intersect with cross‑border business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and lead discussions on EU competition rules (Articles 101 & 102 TFEU) and U.S. antitrust law.
• Cover topics such as cartels, abuse of dominance, mergers, extraterritoriality, leniency policies, and international cooperation agreements.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and case studies with an international dimension.
• Assess student performance through exams, papers, and class participation.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an ABA‑approved law school or a PhD in a related field.
• At least three years of professional practice or teaching experience in competition or antitrust law.
• Strong academic credentials and a record of scholarly or practical expertise.
