Adjunct Practical Nursing Instructor

About the role

The Adjunct Practical Nursing Instructor will deliver laboratory and clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing program, supervising students in real‑world settings across the Statesboro area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide laboratory and clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing program.
• Supervise students in clinical settings such as hospitals and physicians’ offices in the Statesboro area.
• Develop program curricula, syllabi, goals and objectives.
• Evaluate student progress against course competencies.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and ensure safety and security in training areas.

Required profile

• Current RN license issued by the Georgia State Board of Nursing, in good standing.
• Minimum three years of full‑time paid experience in medical/surgical nursing, obstetrics, pediatrics, or related clinical settings.
• At least three years of licensed nursing practice within the past seven years or direct teaching experience in a post‑secondary nursing program.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers (CPR & AED).

Required skills

• BLS (CPR & AED) certification.
