Adjunct Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor

About the role

The Adjunct Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor will deliver course instruction for the Practical Nursing (PN) program at Ogeechee Technical College, preparing students for successful nursing careers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver weekly learning activities aligned with Student Learning Outcomes.
• Prepare and finalize course syllabi and Blackboard course sites.
• Assess student progress, assign grades, and maintain attendance records.
• Maintain compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation standards.
• Advise students on academic and occupational pathways.
• Participate in recruitment, enrollment, retention, and departmental committees.
• Assist with budgeting for instructional equipment and supplies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current practical nurse license issued by the Georgia State Board of Nursing, in good standing.
• Minimum three years of full‑time paid experience in medical/surgical nursing, obstetrics, pediatrics, or related clinical settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Blackboard Learning Management System.
