About the role
We are seeking an Adjunct Physics Instructor to join Athens Technical College. The role involves delivering physics courses across campus locations and partner high schools, using a variety of teaching methods.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver course material that aligns with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
- Utilize appropriate teaching techniques, including face‑to‑face, online, and audio/video formats.
- Teach at multiple Athens Technical College sites and on high‑school campuses as needed.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
Required profile
- Master’s degree with at least 18 semester hours in physics or a related discipline.
- Strong communication abilities and a solid work ethic.
- Willingness to teach at various college locations and high‑school sites.
- Flexibility to employ all college‑approved instructional methods.
Required skills
- Experience with online teaching platforms, preferably BlackBoard.
