Adjunct Mathematics Instructor (Part‑time)

About the role

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics for the Fall 2024 semester. This part‑time, fixed‑term position involves teaching a range of introductory mathematics courses to undergraduate students on campus.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver course materials for assigned mathematics classes (e.g., Quantitative Skills, College Algebra, Pre‑Calculus, Statistics).
• Teach classes either in‑person at any of the college’s nine campuses or online, with a preference for on‑site instruction.
• Assess student performance, grade assignments, and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with college policies and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics with at least 18 graduate credit hours in pure math courses (MATH prefix).
• Minimum one year of teaching experience at the college level.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer‑literacy skills.
