About the role
Platt College Los Angeles is seeking a part‑time, in‑person Adjunct Math Instructor to deliver high‑quality instruction to adult learners. You will help students achieve course objectives while fostering a disciplined, supportive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging mathematics lessons that align with program and course objectives.
- Maintain an organized, disciplined classroom conducive to learning.
- Communicate workplace expectations and professional standards relevant to students' career paths.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Required profile
- Understanding of adult education environments and learner needs.
- Ability to create a positive and effective learning atmosphere.
- Knowledge of professional career pathways for which students are enrolled.
- Motivation, dedication, enthusiasm for teaching, and strong organizational skills.
