Adjunct Interior Design Instructor (Part‑time)

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking a part‑time Adjunct Interior Design Instructor for its Forsyth campus. The instructor will deliver interior design courses, evaluate student work, and support the academic mission of the college.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and teach interior design classes according to the approved syllabus.
• Develop curriculum materials and lesson outlines.
• Assess student progress through examinations, projects, and grading.
• Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
• Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Ensure safety and security standards in classroom and lab environments.
• Meet all instructional deadlines and provide timely feedback to students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in the interior design industry.
• Demonstrated competence in the specific course content to be taught.
